The 4th Annual Catonsville Flower Festival and Garden Party is just the start of the fun activities that happen annually in Catonsville once the weather starts to get warmer.
The very active Catonsville Chamber of Commerce is responsible the Catonsville Flower Festival that is now in its fourth year and an enjoyable enhancement to the calendar.
Located beside the Fire Station and in the heart of 21228, the eclectic collection of stalls stretch into the parking lots. Walk-able for many that call Catonsville home, but also plenty of parking for others.
This spectacular flower mart and mini crafts festival will include beautiful potted spring flowers, and garden plants, displays from local master gardeners, gifts for Mother’s Day, and delicious food and music to round out our garden party theme.
It’s Delightful and the quintessential Catonsville community event that enforces the desire to make Catonsville the place to live. Neighbors, children, pets and school friends mingle together and enjoy all of the quirky offerings.
There is also music, ice cream and possibly even the opportunity to own your very own “Life is Great in 21228” magnet.
I am confident there will even be at least one fairy floating around too.
This is also the opening of Sunday Farmers Market and for this one week only the Catonsville Flower Festival and the Catonsville Farmers Market will run simultaneously, making Frederick Road in Catonsville the place to be on Sunday, May 3 for fresh food and fresh flowers.
The Sunday Farmers Market is a weekly event during the warmer months of the year that is growing in size and popularity.
